The beauty of Delhi lies in its in cultural diversity, medieval monuments and archaeological remains. Don’t miss the Raj Ghat, one of the most frequented ghats in Delhi wherein lies the mortal remains of the “Father of the Nation” Mahatma Gandhi after his assassination in 1948. The cremation ground of Jawaharlal Nehru, “Shanti Van” lies to the north of the Raj Ghat
JUMA MASJID & RED FORT– You will be taken aback by the grandeur of Juma Masjid one of the largest mosques in India and the magnanimous Red Fort built in red sandstone. Attend the Light & Sound show organized by Delhi Tourism to learn about the history of Delhi. Also whiff past the President House, Parliament House and Government Secretariat buildings.
INDIA GATE – It is quite a sight to stand beside this 42 meter high stone arch of triumph that bears the names of 85,000 Indian Army soldiers who gave up their lives for their country during World War I, North-West frontiers operations and the 1919 Afghan Fiasco
QUTUB MINAR & BIRLA MANDIR - Be awestruck by the highest stone tower and finest Islamic structures ever built, the one and only Qutub Minar. Raised by Qutubuddin in 1199, this victory tower is a recognized landmark in Delhi. It is also worthwhile to visit the Birla Mandir otherwise known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple

Day 02 – Delhi to Mussoorie (290 kms)

Day 03 – Mussoorie
Often called as the “Queen of the Hills”, Mussoorie owes its name to the Mansur shrub that is seen at every nook and corner of the hill station.  At an altitude of 2003 meters in the Garhwal hills, it’s cool outside and a steaming breakfast alone will get you going for the fun and frolic planned for the whole day at this picture-perfect hill station located at the foothills of the Himalayas.

GUN HILL –. The hill got its name from  the pre-independence practice of firing a mounted gun to herald the middle of the day. The heavenly view of the Himalayan ranges (Bunderpunch, Srikantha, Pithwara and Gangotri) from atop this hill will leave you speechless. The eagle’s eye view of Mussoorie town and Doon Valley you get from Gun Hill is more than your eyes can enjoy. KEMPTY FALL – Refresh yourself with a bath at the foot of the 4500 feet Kempty Fall, snuggled between lofty mountains, just 15 kms from Mussoorie. It is by far the biggest and prettiest waterfall in the valley and is a refreshing experience for children and adults alike
